No, Delegate Rust does not support the Governor’s plan. He supports HB 6029 introduced by Delegate Dave Albo (Transportation administration & funding; eliminating and replacing certain state fees and taxes), which Delegate Rust is Chief Co-patron for this bill.
2. What legislation, if any have you introduced for Virginia's special transportation session?
Delegate Rust has introduced two bills HB 6017 (Food and Beverage tax; allow counties to impose tax without a referendum) and HB 6021 (Highway maintenance funds; provides method by which the Transportation Board is to allocate funds.) He is Chief Co-patron to HB 6029, above, and Co-Patron to HB 6013, HB 6023, HB 6046, and HJ 6005.
3. What do you see as the biggest transportation obstacle for Loudoun County residents right now?
