The Wolverines of Western Loudoun claimed state championships for both the boys and girls on Saturday, June 6 in Alexandria. For the boys, the win completed a perfect season and for the girls, it was a second straight state title.
The Highlanders battled back from an early five-run deficit to knock off Stone Bridge for the third time this season and claim the tournament title.
