The Loudoun County Hawks 16U baseball program won the Virginia Sports Complex 2009 16U Virginia State Championship tournament on July 19th.

The Loudoun County Board of Supervisors listened to dozens of area residents explain their support for baseball in the county during a public input session on Monday. The Board will vote Tuesday on a special exception that would allow construction of a 5,500-seat baseball stadium at the intersection of routes 7 and 28 in Ashburn.
