The shuffle back to the Farragut West Metro Station. The sidewalks and streets were shoulder-to-shoulder as far as the eye could see. It took over an hour-and-a-half to walk up 17th Street. Once we got to Farragut Square, we went into my husband’s office building (adjacent to the park) and waited for the crowd to thin out for an hour or so before we attempted to board a train for home.
