On Monday, the last day to register to vote in the November election, dozens of residents stopped by the registrar office in Leesburg to fill out the required paper work. Voter registration in the county is up more than 36,000 from the 2004 election.
Jay Amin, 25, with his mother, Jyoti Amin, 52, register to vote on Monday, the last day to register for the November elections. They moved to Ashburn from Maryland.
A steady stream of people made their way to the registrar's office in Leesburg on the last day to register to vote in the November election. Judy Brown, Loudoun general registrar helps Stephanie Hattix and her daughter, Naomi Hattix, 23, with the paperwork. The Hattix's moved to Loudoun County two weeks ago from West Chester, Ohio.
