Shenandoah University (SU)and Inova Health System presidents signed an collaborative affiliation agreement yesterday, Oct. 29, in support of nursing education at a formal signing ceremony at the university’s Northern Virginia Campus in Leesburg, Va. On hand at the formal signing ceremony were (left to right): Virginia State Senator Mark R. Herring, Virginia 33rd District; Nursing Professor and Director of SU’s Division of Nursing Kathryn Ganske, Ph.D.; SU President Tracy Fitzsimmons, Ph.D.; Inova Health System President Knox Singleton; Inova Loudoun Hospital Chief Nurse Executive Lisa Dugan; and U.S. State Representative Frank R. Wolf, Virginia 10th District.
