When you say the "rest of Virginia" (ROV), I take that to mean everyone outside of the 703 area code. As far as the ROV is concerned, Northern Virginia is from another planet, or worse, from [insert whisper] the North. Loudoun was once part of the ROV, but with the influx of residents associating with Washington, the county is now on the fence between the two, and headed toward NV.

Since only about 30% of the eligible voters showed up in recent elections, I doubt any party can claim to represent all of Loudoun. Once I see somebody getting 51% of 80% of the eligible votes, then I'll grant you the point about 'representing' Loudoun.

I moved to Loudoun to get away from the liberal unwashed of Fairfax. Too bad they followed me.
