Time-Warner wants to KILL everything that has the AOL name on it. The only brands they're supporting are in no way connected to the brand AOL.

This is the legacy of Steve Case. The Time-Warner old guard vowed to kill it once and for all once the merger went bottoms up and the their stock options went sweetly down the toilet. Some of these T=W execs lost mult-millions and they've never forgotten. Some have even publically vowed revenge.

And so...they're getting it. What's Loudoun going to do without its beloved benefactor? With Verizon virtually a shell...they will have two premier office campus barely inhabited. I will tell you the traffic around CC1 and 2 this morning was less than you would find than on a weekend.

I feel for you ex-AOL'ers. I've been on both sides of this. Via Con Dios!
