Leesburg Church of Christ welcome message:
"The Churches of Christ, while existing as independent autonomous bodies of Christ, share the common desire to simply be Christians and follow the teachings of God's Word. We wear no name other than our Savior's. We belong to Him. He bought us with His blood. We are His disciples and no one else's. We believe the Bible is God's inspired Word. It is our only creed and we strive to do what it says and abstain from what it condemns. If the Scripture says it, we want to do it. If the Scripture condemns it , we denounce it. If the Scripture is silent about it, we proceed cautiously and wisely. We believe Jesus is the Son of God, completely or wholly God and man. We believe in the grace of His death, the sinlessness of His life, the goodness of His ministry, the power of His resurrection, the glory of His ascension, and the hope of His return. We proclaim salvation through Him and forgiveness of sins in His name. If God had not sent His son into the world we would die in our sins, eternally separated from God.

God calls us to salvation through faith in Jesus, repentance from sin, confessing His Name, and baptism into the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. Only those accountable for their own sins need salvation. We believe salvation must be followed by a lifetime of faithfulness or no one's salvation is secure. We believe the Church is the living Body of Jesus Christ, the Kingdom of God on earth. God joins us to Christ through His body and we are all brothers and sisters in Him, God's family. Through this fellowship God calls us to preach the gospel and serve one another. Obedience to God's call to salvation is the only requirement of membership. God adds souls to His church. We believe we have a stewardship entrusted to us. Jesus is our Lord and we are His disciples. We must walk in the light. We must pick up our cross and follow Him. We must obey His teachings, not because we have to, but because we want to and they are not burdensome. We have a stewardship to one another, to love each other, pray for each other, admonish one another, and encourage on another. We also believe Jesus will return, not to earth, but to take His people home. We believe in the Judgment Day when all people must appear before God and give account for their lives. We believe in Heaven, in its beauty, its purity, and its reward. And we believe in Hell' in its horror, its misery, and its punishment. We believe the Devil is real, but we believe God has overcome him."
