Chrysalis is home to the world's largest planting of Norton grapes, a variety native to Virginia that produces a distinctly dense red wine. "People ask me what Norton tastes like," owner Jennifer McCloud says. "I say it tastes like Norton." A restaurant near the vineyard and a tasting room off Route 50 are in the offing.
