Beware. It's a cult.

Yes it is. This article is a nice version of what really goes on in this cult (NOT to be confused with church). Arranged marriages are practically forced upon women to old men.

If the mark of a cult is the sanctioning of arranged marriages then entire cultures are guilty of this practice. Hate to break it to you, but Paul's scriptural advice concerning marriages practically borders on such covenants. So you can't fault a church for entering into this understanding. It's the Western egoist who finds such ancient or third world practices an offense that will take issue with this. Certainly voluntary marriages are not the better option these days considering over 60% end in divorce or separation in the United States.

Sanctioning of arranged marriages? That is a CROCK. So I guess it was God's plan for this Church "leader" to stand up in front of the congregation after the death of his 55 year old wife and say that God decreed that he should marry a virgin? Anyone with half a brain can see this for exactly what it is and it is perverted. Is it Western Egoism that has people upset over the hundreds of thousands of dollars spent on race cars and accessories? Or at the fact that this Church "leader" calls for members to turn over all of their earthly belongings (like houses) to him? This is no different than the Branch Davidians or any other cult. This is NOT Christianity.
