Christian Edwards stole a quick peek to his left while grabbing a breath during his 100-meter individual medley heat on Saturday at Rivercrest and saw nothing but open water. Nicely tucked in between large family homes and young trees in full summer bloom, its a serene spot just beyond the bustle and traffic of Algonkian Parkway.
