The 16th annual Delaplane Strawberry Festival took place this weekend at Sky Meadows State Park.

The festival, which is hosted by Emmanuel Episcopal Church of Delaplane, featured strawberry eating contests, children's games such as three-legged and sack races and hayrides.

Washington Post photojournalist Tracy Woodward spent Saturday at the event and captured some of the key moments of the day.
