As the 100th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America nears, the Goose Creek District of the National Capital Area Council is working to develop a database of Scouts and former Scouts of all ages who have achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.
Our purpose is to strengthen the already vibrant Scouting program in Loudoun County (more than 4,000 youths in 113 units) by recognizing the large number of Eagle Scouts who live and work in the county and who make valuable contributions to our community.
It is also our hope that Eagle Scouts of all ages once associated with our network will be motivated to support or continue to support the Boy Scouts of America in Loudoun. The Scouting movement provides a positive example of citizenship, community involvement and development of skills at a time when our society sorely needs such examples.
If you are an Eagle Scout (there is no such thing as a former Eagle Scout) and you live or work in Loudoun, please contact me at 703-737-3800 or e-mail bob@loudouncommercialtitle.com.
The information you will provide will not be used for any purpose other than supporting the Boy Scouts of America.
