Cleanup of Ball's Bluff Scheduled for Saturday
Ball's Bluff Battlefield Regional Park in Leesburg is one of several Civil War sites nationwide that will be cleaned and restored Saturday.
Park Day, which is in its 11th year, is an annual hands-on preservation event created by the Civil War Preservation Trust to help volunteer groups with the maintenance of such sites.
The event will begin at 9 a.m. Organizers are seeking volunteers to correct trail erosion, spread mulch and clean the park.

County Releases Guide To Services in Loudoun
The 2009 edition of Loudoun County's guide to services is available.
The handbook contains information on services provided by the county government and other governmental and nongovernmental agencies.
Copies of the guide are available at community centers, public libraries and the front counters of many county departments and agencies. They also can be obtained by contacting the Office of Public Information at pivs@loudoun.gov or 703-777-0113.
The guide is available online at www.loudoun.gov/guide.
