The Piedmont Singers of Middleburg is in their tenth year of existence, and is preparing for a trip to the Canterbury Cathedral in August as a visiting choir. Under the guidance of Founding Conductor Wendy Oesterling, the singers have been rehearsing for the event since January.

The group of volunteer singers come from different areas of Virginia and DC and represent, unofficially, 17 different churches.

This is not the first year the Piedmont Singers have been invited across seas as a visiting choir. They were also invited as a guest choir at Wells Cathedral in Somerset, England in August, 2007.
