The punishment for speeding or even avoiding a police office should not be be a death sentence. At 1 am there are no pedestrians so the motocyclist is a danger only to himself. Trying to stop a speeding motorcyclists with road spikes is attempted homicide. Does the previous poster hate motorcyclists that much?
