Authorities are investigating two cases of larceny in Ashburn and a hit-and-run case in Purcellville, according to a daily report by the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
Larceny: Between 3 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday, someone entered a vehicle in the 300 block of South Johnson Road in Sterling by damaging a driver's side window. A GPS unit was removed from the vehicle.
Larceny: Between 9 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday, someone entered a vehicle in the 20680 block of Tally Ho Court in Ashburn and removed change and a gift card.

Destruction of Property: Between 12:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Monday, a window of a vehicle in the 43000 block of Kingsport Drive in Leesburg was damaged by a pellet. The vehicle was also "egged."
Destruction of Property: Between 4 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday, someone sprayed painted graffiti on the wall of a school in the 24300 block of Goshen Road in Aldie. A small, burned-out fire was also located in the same area. The Fire Marshal was called to the scene to assist.
Larceny: Around 1 a.m. Monday, someone entered a vehicle in the 20570 block of Broadnax Place in Ashburn and removed a GPS unit.
Auto Crash/Hit and Run: Around 2:54 a.m. Tuesday, deputies responded to the area of a single vehicle crash in the 35770 block of Snickersville Turnpike in Purcellville. One passenger, with serious but non-life threatening injuries, was found at the scene. The driver apparently fled the scene. The area was searched with assistance from the Virginia State Police helicopter. The crash remains under investigation.
