Crime Blotter: Exposure, Auto Theft

Authorities are investigating two cases of auto theft in Sterling and a case of exposure in Ashburn, according to a daily report by the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Larceny: Between 9:30 p.m. Thursday and 6:30 a.m. Friday, someone entered two vehicles in the 600 block of West Church Road in Sterling and removed two GPS units, a cell phone and a wallet.

Destruction of Property: Around 7 a.m. Thursday, graffiti was discovered on a retaining wall in the 433000 block of Southern Walk Plaza in Ashburn. The spray-painted graffiti does not appear to be gang related.

Larceny: Between 9 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. Wednesday, someone entered a vehicle in the 44200 block of Marchand Lane in Ashburn and removed two MP3 players.

Auto Theft: Between 1 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. Friday, someone removed a white 1999 Honda Civic from the 100 block of Hopeland Lane in Sterling.

Burglary: Between 10:45 a.m. and 4:55 p.m. Thursday, someone entered a residence in the 46600 block of Silhouette Square in Sterling and removed numerous pieces of jewelry.

Destruction of Property: Around 5:40 p.m. Friday, possible gang-related graffiti was found on a bathroom wall of a business in the 45400 block of Dulles Crossing Plaza in Sterling.

Suspicious Event: Around 4:30 p.m. Friday, a resident reported seeing someone in the backyard of their residence in Abby Circle in Sterling. The person was described as a White male in his mid-30s, 5'10" to 6' with light brown hair.

Exposure: Around 8:10 p.m. Friday, two residents reported seeing a nude man in the bushes near Wayside Circle and Claiborne Parkway in Ashburn. The man was described as a White, 25-year-old, standing 6' tall with blonde hair. A search of the area was conducted, but the man was not located.

Suspicious Event: Between 4 p.m. Tuesday and 5 p.m. Thursday, three residents reported finding their front doors ajar in the 42740 block of Big Spruce Square in Leesburg. There were no signs of forced entry and no items were reported missing.

Burglary: Between 10:30 a.m. and 11:45 p.m. Friday, someone entered a residence in the 43300 block of La Belle Place in Ashburn and removed a laptop, a DVD player and a video recorder.

Larceny: Around 12:30 a.m. Saturday, someone entered three vehicles in the 160 block of Magnolia Road in Sterling and removed a GPS unit, an MP3 player, a digital camera, a cell phone and a hunting knife. The driver's side window of two vehicles were damaged to gain entry.

Auto Theft: Around 7 a.m. Saturday, someone removed a 1996 Dodge Caravan from the 1000 block of South Dickenson Avenue in Sterling.

Exposure: Around 7:06 p.m. Saturday, someone reported that an unknown person in a vehicle exposed their backside through a rear window by Countryside Boulevard in Sterling. Vehicle information was obtained and the case is pending.

Destruction of Property: Around 10 p.m. Saturday, someone reported spray-painted graffiti on a concrete barrier in the 17650 block of Cleveland Park Drive in Round Hill.

Unlawful Entry: Around 11:07 p.m. Saturday, deputies responded to a vacant home in the 120 block of Willow Place in Sterling and found several people inside. Marvin E. Perez, 25, of Sterling, Janatan Argeta, 19, of Sterling and Italo M. Guardado, 33, of Sterling were charged with unlawful entry. They were all released on a $2500 bond.

Burglary: Between 11:30 a.m. Saturday and 11:55 a.m. Sunday, someone entered a residence in the 20900 block of Fernridge Way in Ashburn by damaging a window. The residents of the home were out of town at the time of the incident. It is unclear if any items were taken from the home.

Burglary/Larceny/Vehicle Tampering: Between 7 p.m. Saturday and 3 a.m. Sunday, someone entered a vehicle and a garage of a residence in Kiawah Island Drive in Ashburn. A GPS unit and a wallet were taken from the vehicle. The wallet was later recovered on Northville Hills Terrace. Beer was removed from a garage refrigerator of another residence.

Larceny: Between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. Sunday, someone entered a vehicle in the 20020 block of Blackwolf Run Place in Ashburn and removed a cell phone and a package of gum.

Burglary: Between 6:30 a.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Sunday, someone entered a residence through a rear window in the 19600 block of Saratoga Springs Place in Ashburn. Items were moved inside the residence but nothing was reported missing.
