Authorities are investigating an incident of exposure and two cases of assault, according to a daily report from the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
- Exposure: A cyclist was riding on the W&OD Trail in the area of the Loudoun County and Town of Herndon line in Sterling when she saw a man exposing himself. He was described as Hispanic and in his mid 20s, wearing sunglasses, a white baseball cap, white T-shirt and khaki shorts. No subject was found matching this description after a search of the area. The incident occurred between 3:10 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
- Larceny: A portable radio that was left on the bumper of a vehicle in the area of Round Up Lane and John Mosby Highway in Aldie was stolen on Friday around 11 a.m.
- Larceny from a Vehicle: Catalytic converters were taken from two vehicles in the 44600 block of Moran Road in Sterling between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Friday.

- Tampering with a Vehicle: Eight vehicles in the 42100 block of Fremont Preserve Square in Aldie were broken into between 1:30 a.m. and 4 a.m. Saturday. Items taken include a GPS unit, a cell phone and a digital camera. Two driver-side windows were damaged. Some of the vehicles were entered and nothing taken.
- Burglary/Destruction of Property: A resident living on E. Wiltshire Court in Sterling woke up around 5 a.m. Saturday and saw an unknown person in the house. The subject was described as a black man, 5-feet-7-inches tall, 160 pounds with a muscular build. The resident did not contact the authorities until later in the morning when they saw that a screen had been damaged.
- Assault: A Leesburg man, 22, was jogging in area of CountrySide Boulevard and Minor Road in Sterling when he was struck by an unknown man. The subject was described as Hispanic, 5-feet-10-inches tall with short dark hair. He was wearing blue jeans. The victim was injured and taken to a local hospital.
- Strong-Arm Robbery: A 14-year-old boy was at a party at a home in the 43920 block of Camellia Street in Ashburn on Saturday when he was assaulted around 11:45 p.m. An mp3 player and cell phone were stolen. The party was attended by numerous juveniles. The Sheriff's Criminal Investigations Division is investigating the case.
- Burglary: Computer equipment, including a computer monitor and two hard drives, and a small amount of cash were stolen from the Ashburn Country Day School in the 20900 block of Ashburn Village Boulevard in Ashburn. The incident occurred between 6:30 p.m. Friday and 3:50 p.m. Sunday.
