The 10:30 am service Sunday at the Unitarian Universalists of Sterling is "The Service of the Living Tradition." The congregation will honor the births, deaths and major life transitions that have occurred in the past year. A program of Jewish lunch-and-learn studies, with rabbis from western Fairfax and Loudoun counties, will continue at noon Wednesday. Sterling United Methodist Church is having a rummage sale from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 27 and from 8 a.m. to noon June 28. Proceeds will benefit the church's youth and adult summer mission trips. Sterling United Methodist Church is taking registrations for its Crocodile Dock vacation Bible school, which runs from 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 3 to 7 and costs $30 per child. Registration is also open for the church's summer camp program, which runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 13 to 17, July 20 to 24 and July 27 to 31 and costs $125 per child per week.
