The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for Loudoun County until 8:45 p.m. tonight.

Thunderstorms are expected to hit the area this evening, which could cause flash flooding in areas already saturated from the recent rains. Drivers should take extreme caution and avoid driving in areas where the roadway is covered by water.
