A Loudoun County school resource monitor was arrested for being drunk in a public school today.
Michelle T. Kassner, 43, of Sterling was taken into custody and charged with being drunk in public after personnel from River Bend Middle School contacted the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office around 9:15 a.m. to report an employee who was believed to be intoxicated.
The ensuing investigation conducted by a Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Officer concluded that Kassner was under the influence of alcohol.

School Resource Monitor Michelle T. Kassner, 43, was arrested on June 5, 2009, after being found intoxicated at River Bend Elementary School.
Kassner remains held at the Loudoun Adult Detention Center. She has been placed on administrative leave by Loudoun County Public Schools.
