The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for Loudoun County lasting through late tonight.

More showers and thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and evening that are capable of producing very heavy rainfall in areas throughout the county. In the event that flooding occurs, residents are advised to avoid driving on roads covered with standing water.
