Man Dies After Falling From Bed of Moving Truck

The Sheriff's Office is currently investigating an incident that led to the death of a 19-year-old after he fell from the bed of a pick-up truck.

Dennis Ray Ross of Oak Hill, Va., was apparently riding in the bed of a 2001 GMC Sierra pick-up on Sunday, July 19. Around 12:37 a.m., while the truck was in motion, he fell from the bed. The incident occurred on Donegal Drive near Mandeville Drive in South Riding.

Ross died on Saturday at Inova Fairfax Hospital.
