Four Men Robbed In Sterling on Sunday

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery Sunday in Sterling.

Officials said four men walking along Sugarland Run Drive about 2:40 p.m. were approached by three people, one of whom demanded money and indicated he had a gun.

Sobriety Checkpoint Yields No Arrests

Nobody was charged with driving under the influence Saturday when Loudoun County authorities held a sobriety checkpoint near South Riding.

The checkpoint, around Route 50 and Tall Cedars Parkway, recorded 722 vehicles passing through from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Loudoun sheriff’s deputies issued 24 citations, including three for driving on a suspended license or no license.
