Authorities are investigating a string of auto tampering and larceny cases in the Round Hill area, according to a daily report by the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
Auto Tampering/Larceny: Between 9 p.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday, numerous cars were entered in the Round Hill area. In the 17500 block of Tedler Drive, a driver's side window was damaged to enter a car and a bag was removed. Another car on that same block, that was left unlocked, was entered and two MP3 players, a laptop, cash, a cell phone and sunglasses were taken. Five vehicles were entered in the 35900 block of Clover Terrace. Items removed included a video game system, cash, two wallets, two MP3 players, a cell phone and a digital camera. All of these vehicles were left unlocked. Another resident on Clover Terrace reported having a window on their vehicle damaged and a purse was removed. A resident in the 17290 block of Magic Mountain Drive reported that their car was entered by damaging a passenger window. A purse containing cash was removed. Cash was removed from an unlocked vehicle in the 35800 block of Devon Park Square. A vehicle in the 36040 block of Welland Drive was entered and a wallet was removed. A vehicle in the 17360 block of Avion Square was entered and a portable radio was removed. A GPS unit was removed from a vehicle in the 35800 block of Bentridge Court.
Breaking and Entering: Between 11:30 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. Tuesday, someone damaged several doors in an apparent attempt to gain entry into a pool house on Edds Lane in Sterling.

Burglary:Between 11:30 a.m. and 2:50 p.m. Tuesday, someone entered a residence in the 400 block of East Cornell Drive in Sterling and removed a computer, cash, a digital camera, a television, two DVD players and clothing. A window was damaged to gain entry.
Destruction of Property: Between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. Tuesday, someone spray painted possible gang-related graffiti on the side of a residence in the 46700 block of Ironstone Terrace in Sterling.
Attempted Larceny from a Vehicle: Around 1 a.m. Wednesday, a resident reported seeing three juvenile males inside a neighbor's vehicle in the 43200 block of Chokeberry Square in Ashburn. Upon seeing the resident, the people fled the area. A K-9 search was conducted but no one was located.
