Authorities are investigating two burglary cases in Sterling and a larceny case in Ashburn, according to a daily report by the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Burglary: Between 8:30 a.m. Saturday and 11:37 a.m. Tuesday, someone entered a residence in the 20420 block of Quarterpath Trace Circle in Sterling and removed various amounts of change. A rear door of the residence was found ajar.

Suspicious Event: Between noon Monday and 4 a.m. Tuesday, a resident of a home on Oak Shade Road in Sterling found a possible bullet hole in the side of their house. A search of the area was conducted but nothing suspicious was located.

Destruction of Property/Larceny: Around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, someone entered a vehicle in the 44600 block of Waxpool Road in Ashburn and removed an MP3 player and a briefcase. A passenger window was damaged to gain entry.

Burglary: Between 8 a.m. Thursday and 3:11 p.m. Sunday, someone entered a residence in the 47500 block of Woodboro Terrace in Sterling and removed jewelry, a video game system and a television. A vehicle located in the garage had a window damaged.
