Congratulations to the two winners of our New Year's Day Contest - Stacey Sexton and Betsy Montgomery.
We ran the contest over a two-week period, starting at the end of December and ending on Jan. 5. In it, we spelled out the words "Happy New Year" from photographs of letters that we took from around Loudoun County.
To make things a little easier, we made the quiz multiple choice. However, no one was able to get all of the letters right.
Sexton, our top winner, was able to correctly identify all but one of the Loudoun locations from which we took the letters. Her prize is a one-year membership to the Lady of America gym in Reston.
Montgomery, our second winner, correctly identified all but two of the letters, for which she will receive a $100 gift certificate to the new Leesburg restaurant, Wine Kitchen.
And for those of you who want to see where you went wrong or who missed the contest during its first run, here are the answers:
H - c) The French Hound in Middleburg
