Authorities are investigating burglaries that took place in Leesburg and Sterling Monday morning, according to a daily report by the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
Burglary: Between midnight and 9 a.m. Monday, someone entered a home in the 43170 block of Allenby Way in Leesburg by entering through an unlocked door. A video game system, 20 video games and a wallet were removed from the residence.
Larceny: Between midnight and 10:30 a.m. Monday, someone entered a vehicle in the 800 block of North Vernon Street in Sterling by damaging a passenger side window. Inside the vehicle, they removed an MP3 player.

Burglary: Between 10:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday, someone entered a residence in the 46000 block of Marble Terrace in Sterling and removed change, CD's and two video games. A window in the back of the residence was damaged to gain entry.
Auto Accident/Assist other Jurisdiction: Around 9:15 p.m. Monday, Loudoun County Sheriff's Deputies assisted the Virginia State Police with a single vehicle crash involving an overturned dump truck in the 37300 block of Charles Town Pike in Purcellville. The roadway was closed for about two hours.
