Authorities investigated a suspicious package Thursday night in Ashburn, according to a daily report by the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
Larceny: Between midnight and 9 a.m. Thursday, someone entered a vehicle in the 21700 block of Goose Cross Terrace in Ashburn and removed a cell phone and cell phone accessories.
Larceny: On Thursday, someone removed a GPS unit from a vehicle in the 43200 block of Clearnight Terrace in Ashburn.

Larceny from a Vehicle: Between noon and 5 p.m. Thursday, someone entered a vehicle in the 43300 block of Old Ox Road in Sterling and removed a child's car seat. There were no signs of forced entry.
Suspicious Event: Around 7 p.m. Thursday, a suspicious package was located on top of a U.S. Postal mailbox near Junction Plaza and Ashburn Farm Parkway in Ashburn. The Loudoun County Bomb Squad responded to the scene. The package was declared safe and contained no harmful elements.
