Projects Proposed

1. VA3148 Philomont, Steptoe Hill Road. Special exception to allow construction of a 154-foot stealth communications tree pole with nine panel antennas on 133.6 acres zoned AR2 (agricultural rural).

2. Gateway West Commercial, northeast of Autumn Lane and Gum Spring Road. An 18,400-square-foot office-retail facility and a 5,050-square-foot bank with drive-through on 1.90 acres zoned PD-CC-CC (planned development-commercial center-community center) and CLI (commercial light industry).

3. Transdulles, Parcel 6D, southwest of Davis and Sally Ride drives. A one-story flex-industrial building on 0.80 acres zoned PD-IP (planned development-industrial park).

Projects Approved

4. Equinix Data Center, Beaumeade Circle and Filigree Court in the Beaumeade Corporate Park. Approval to rezone 31.97 acres from PD-IP (planned development-industrial park) under the 1972 zoning ordinance to PD-IP under the Revised 1993 zoning ordinance, and a special exception to allow a maximum floor area ratio up to 0.6. The property is currently improved with five flex-industrial warehouse buildings and associated park (517,252 square feet of floor area). The special exception will allow replacement of an existing building with a larger building and expansion and redevelopment of the site.

5. Goose Creek North Schmitz Gas Station, northwest corner of Belmont Ridge and Sycolin roads. Special exception to allow an automobile service station on 1.12 acres zoned PD-CC-CC (planned development-commercial center-community center).

6. Marvil Property Minor, east side of Lincoln Road, at 18106, 18110 and 18112 Lincoln Rd. Special exception to modify regulations in the zoning ordinance regarding Accessory Apartments and Dwelling Units to allow a lot consolidation from two lots to one lot for three existing dwellings on 0.67 acres zoned CR-2 (countryside residential).

7. Steeplechase, Lot 30, southwest corner of Severn Way and Atlantic Boulevard. Rezone about five acres from PD-IP (planned development-industrial park) under the 1972 zoning ordinance to PD-IP under the Revised 1993 zoning ordinance to allow development of all principal and accessory uses permitted in the zoning district up to a floor area ratio of 0.40.

11. Condominiums at Kirkpatrick, eight condominium units on Patriot Terrace.

12. Chevy Chase Bank, 3,650-square-foot bank at 401 E. Market St.

13. Brambleton Land Bay 2, six townhouses on Twin Falls Terrace, south of Creighton Road and east of Belmont Ridge Road.

14. Kirkpatrick Farms, six townhouses on Cynthia Terrace, off Summerall Drive, south of Braddock Road.

15. Braddock Corner, seven townhouses on Oak Medley Terrace, northwest corner of Braddock and Gum Spring roads.

16. Potomac Green, six townhouses on Oakmont Manor Square, south of Route 7, west of the Loudoun County Parkway.

17. South Riding, five townhouses on Fortitude Terrace, east of Gum Spring Road, north of Braddock Road.

18. Brambleton, 10 condominium units at 22711 Beacon Crest Terr., north of Ryan Road, west of Belmont Ridge Road.
