Authorities are investigating an auto theft in Sterling and the destruction of property in Ashburn, according to a daily report from the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
- Theft: Unknown subjects entered a vehicle and removed two laptop computers from the 47600 block of Corner Square in Sterling between 11:30 a.m. Monday and 12:08 p.m. Thursday. There was no sign of forced entry.
- Auto Theft: Unknown subjects removed a 1994 Acura Integra that was parked along the 300 block of Dupont Street in Sterling between 8 p.m. Wednesday and 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
- Destruction of Property: Unknown subjects damaged the door frame of a garage of a residence on the 21100 block of Blue Bill Court in Ashburn at 5:49 p.m. Thursday. No entry was gained.
