On Friday evening, support the Loudoun Academy of the Arts Foundation with a silent art auction at the Leesburg Birkby House, where everything from Greek pottery to designer jewelry will be on display from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. On Sunday, celebrate the holiday with an Easter brunch at one of Loudoun County's restaurants.
An Evening for Art's Sake
A woman's makeover, a certificate to Tuscarora Mill and trendy earrings are only several of many items for sale at Friday's silent auction at the Thomas Birkby House in Leesburg.
An Evening for Art's Sake, beginning at 6 p.m. and running till 9 p.m., will kick off with a live auction of 20 items. A silent auction of 80 items, ranging from original paintings by Loudoun artists to theme baskets and Greek pottery, will follow.
Throughout the event, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be served. All proceeds will benefit the Loudoun Academy of the Arts Foundation.

Easter Sunday Brunches
Enjoy fine Loudoun cuisine with your family on Easter Sunday. In Leesburg, sip a glass of champagne or a mimosa atVintage 50 Restaurant & Brew Loungewhile noshing on truffled spring mushrooms or honey-glazed ham. Guests are also invited to create their own waffles and omelets.
The brunch runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Seats are $39.99 for adults, and $12.99 for children ages six to ten.

In Purcellville, Magnolias at the Mill is serving carved prime rib roast with horseradish cream, smoked salmon with cream cheese and bagels, and lacquered salmon with stir fry vegetables, among other entrées and sides on Sunday at 11 a.m.
Guests can also choose from a wide array of breakfast items, including smoked bacon and maple sausage, and buttermilk pancakes.
For dessert, sample Magnolia's cheesecakes, chocolate cakes or cannolis.
Reservations are $35 per adult, and $18 for children ages six through twelve.
Tuscarora Mill in Leesburg is also throwing an Easter Bash, featuring menu items such as carved roasted lamb leg with garlic and mint, grilled beef and shrimp kebobs and marinated mussels and clams.
Brunch is available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and reservations are $43 for adults, and $18 for children under 12

I wanted to go to easter brunch but after I paid my tax bill I could not eat.
