Authorities are investigating auto thefts in Sterling and Ashburn, according to a daily report from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.
- Autho Theft: Unknown subjects removed a 2001 Lexus that was parked in a parking place in front of their residence on the 21700 block of Kings Crossing Terrace in Ashburn between 8 p.m. Tuesday and 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
- Burglary: Unknown subjects entered a residence on the 43200 block of Clearnight Terrace in Ashburn by damaging a door between 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. Wednesday. Nothing was reported missing.
- Auto Theft: Unknown subjects removed a 2000 Honda Civic that was parked in the driveway of a residence on the 1600 block of North Amelia Street in Sterling between 8:48 p.m. and 10:49 p.m. Wednesday.

- Burglary: Two unknown subjects entered a residence on the 18600 block of Berwyn Court in Leesburg at 1:25 a.m. Thursday and were in the process of taking items when they were confronted by the homeowner. Two individuals were observed fleeing from the scene. A laptop and wallet were taken from the home. A garage door and interior door were left unsecured.
- Theft: Unknown subjects were observed removing a spoiler and four rims and tires from a vehicle on the 930 block of Sherwood Court in Sterling at 2:20 a.m. Thursday. The subjects fled from the scene. All of the items were recovered.
