Organizers of events around the county scheduled for tomorrow are starting to cancel or postpone them in anticipation of the storms from Hurricane Hanna.

Among the canceled events are the Dulles Day Family Festival and 16th Annual Plane Pull, which were supposed to take place at Dulles International Airport in Chantilly. No rain date was planned for those events.

"The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority and Special Olympics Virginia would like to thank all of the Plane Pull teams, sponsors and volunteers for their support of Special Olympics Virginia," wrote the organizers in a statement that went out this morning.

"We are looking forward to sunny weather at next year’s event."

Organizers of the Loudoun Summer Music Fest, which was scheduled to take place outdoors, sent out a note this morning saying they hope to reschedule their event as an indoor show at Jammin Java on an as-yet-to-be-determined date.

The South Riding Business Expo and Community Yard Sale, which typically draws around 2,000 people, has been postponed to Sept. 20.

Hanna is a tropical storm, not a hurricane at this point. There is a differance.
