Loudoun County students went back to school today, and three schools opened their doors for the first time. Liberty Elementary, along with Creighton's Corner Elementary and Steuart W. Weller Elementary, began its inaugural school year yesterday.

Parents of Liberty students saw their children onto the bus, and many of them drove up to the school to greet their children before they entered the building.

I want to send a special congratulations to all the district board members, teachers and parents that worked so hard to make these schools a success.
