- Pursuit/DUI: A sheriff’s deputy observed a vehicle driving erratically in the area of Route 7 and Severn Way in Sterling at 4:07 a.m. on Sunday. The vehicle continued to drive southbound on Route 28, and a second deputy deployed stop sticks in the area of Sterling Boulevard and Route 28. The driver came to a stop near the exit ramp for Route 606. The driver, Derron J. Richardson, 23, of Centerville, VA, was charged with DUI, Refusal and Disregarding a Signal to Stop.

- Theft: A laptop was removed from a vehicle on the 20900 block of Rootstown Terrace in Ashburn between 10 a.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday. The estimated loss is $500.

- Destruction of Property: Six delivery trucks were spray-painted with possible gang-related graffiti on the 45400 block of Ruritan Circle in Sterling between 7 p.m. Friday and 6 a.m. Monday. The images were documented and forwarded to the Sheriff’s Office Gang Intelligence Unit. The estimated loss is $1,500.

- Theft: A GPS unit and jewelry was removed from a vehicle on the 600 block of Nettle Tree Road in Sterling between 9:30 a.m. Sunday and 11 a.m. Monday. The estimated loss is $650.

- Theft: An MP3 unit was removed from an unsecured vehicle on the 2100 block of Lemon Springs Terrace in Ashburn between 1 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. Monday.

- Exposure: A unknown male exposed himself to a female on the W&OD Trail near mile marker 26 in Ashburn at 4:01 Monday. The subject was described as a middle-aged Hispanic male. He was wearing a blue/gray t-shirt, khaki shorts and had brown medium-length curly hair. The suspect was not located.

- Theft: Between 8 p.m. and 9:28 p.m. Monday, deputies searched the area on the 19100 block of Coton Hall Street in Leesburg and identified three male subjects. The deputies had responded to a call about possible subjects entering vehicles. Two juveniles and an adult were identified: a year-old and a 17-year-old, both from Leesburg, are facing petitions for entering a vehicle to commit a crime and possession of tobacco. The adult, Justin Tyler Pope, 18, of Leesburg was charged with two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
