Auto Accident Claims Leesburg Man's Life



On Thursday at 6:48 p.m., Loudoun Police and EMS personnel responded to a report of a crash in the area of 1609 Chickasaw Place NE.

An investigation revealed that a red Dodge Durango had swerved off the road, struck a sign post, and hit several trees and a fence before coming to rest, according to the Leesburg Police Department. Mr. Timothy Twigg, 50, of Leesburg was transported from the scene to the Loudoun Inova Cornwall campus and pronounced dead. The cause of the accident remains under investigation
