Jefferson defeated Loudoun Valley, 5-0, Friday afternoon in Newport News, ending the Vikings' undefeated season in the Virginia AAA state semifinals.
"The girls played well but [Jefferson] was a really good team," Loudoun Valley Coach Brooke Brown said. "We had some close matches but they were the better team today."
"The girls have done very well this year, they have come so far," Brown said. "But TJ was solid one through six and they played better today than we did."
