Aldie Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

LITTLE KREPPS CT., 25000 block, 4 p.m. May 5 to 8 a.m. May 6. Copper pipe was stolen from an air-conditioning unit at a house under construction.

Ashburn Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ASHBURN RD., 20000 block, 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. April 30. A purse containing credit cards was stolen from a vehicle, and a window was damaged. The credit cards were used to make several purchases.

SWAMPFOX CT., 43000 block, 5 p.m. May 3 to 3 p.m. May 4. Golf clubs were stolen from a vehicle.

WATSON HEIGHTS CIR., 22000 block, 4 p.m. May 2 to 7:15 a.m. May 5. Two sets of copper wire air-conditioning hookups were stolen from a construction site.

VANDALISM

BELMONT MANOR LANE, 19000 block, 5 p.m. May 3 to 9:30 a.m. May 4. A music festival sign was damaged.

Dulles Area

VANDALISM

DULLES TOWN CIR., 20000 block, 9:25 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 5. A soft top of a vehicle was damaged.

Leesburg Area

ASSAULTS

AYRLEE AVE. NW, 400 block, 9:07 p.m. May 1. An assault at a residence was reported.

DUFF RD. NE, 600 block, 4:39 p.m. May 2. An assault at a residence was reported.

MAYFAIR DR. NE, 200 block, 9:32 p.m. May 4. Telephone harassment at a residence was reported.

MAX CT. SE, 100 block, 9:03 p.m. May 2. An assault at a residence was reported.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

HANCOCK PL. NE, 100 block, 4:05 p.m. May 3. An indecent exposure incident was reported.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CATOCTIN CIR. NE, 1 to 100 block, 6:41 p.m. May 1. A cellphone and a cellphone charger were stolen from a vehicle in a parking lot at a grocery store.

CATOCTIN CIR. SE, 1 to 100 block, 2:30 p.m. May 3. A cellphone was stolen from a bowling alley. The phone has been recovered.

CATOCTIN CIR. SE, 200 block, 1:51 p.m. May 2. Credit card fraud at a business was reported.

DELPHINIUM CIR., 42000 block, 8:30 a.m. to 4:20 p.m. May 6. Cash and a multimedia player and accessories were stolen from a residence.

EDWARDS FERRY RD. NE, 900 block, 11:27 p.m. May 2. Shoplifting at a convenience store-service station was reported.

FORT EVANS RD. NE, 200 block, 4:30 p.m. May 4. Shoplifting at an outlet mall was reported.

LILAC AND GOLDEN LARCH TERRACES NE, 5:32 p.m. May 5. Trespassing was reported.

WASHINGTON ST. NE, 100 block, 8:02 p.m. May 2. A Yaesu FT840 ham radio was stolen from a residence.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

HUNTER’S CROSSING, 5 to 10 p.m. April 29. A 1996 Honda Accord was stolen from a parking lot at an apartment complex. The keys had been left inside the vehicle and the doors were unlocked.

VANDALISM

BRIDLE CREST SQ. NE, 300 block, 3:11 a.m. May 4. A vehicle tire was slashed.

FORT EVANS RD. NE, 200 block, 3:13 p.m. May 4. Two vehicle doors were damaged.

Round Hill Area

VANDALISM

WILLIAMS GAP ROAD AND BROOKDALE LANE, 4:30 p.m. May 3 to noon May 4. Five residential mailboxes were damaged.

South Riding Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BRICKETT DR., 24000 block, 12:08 a.m. May 4. A resident confronted a man inside a residence and a struggle ensued. Police arrived, and a 50-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested and charged with burglary, public drunkenness and assault.

Sterling Area

ASSAULTS

REDWOOD ROAD AND GREENTHORN AVENUE, 6:40 p.m. May 3. Deputies responded to a report of an assault on a female. A man was arrested. As police were interviewing the female, the man arrested allegedly damaged a window of a sheriff’s vehicle. The man was charged with felony destruction of property, attempted malicious wounding, hindering a deputy, public drunkenness and resisting an arrest.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

GRIFFITH PL., 47000 block, 12:01 to 4:45 a.m. May 5. Property and a checkbook were stolen from a vehicle in a garage at a residence. A check was cashed before the account was canceled.

LAKE CENTER PLAZA, 46000 block, 6 p.m. May 3 to 9 a.m. May 5. Cash was stolen from a business.

SILVER RIDGE DR., 300 block, 1 to 10:48 a.m. May 5. A Global Positioning System device, a satellite radio receiver and a cellphone were stolen from a vehicle.

Waterford Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

FIRST ST., 40000 block, midnight to 7:30 a.m. May 4. A concrete lion statue was stolen from a yard at a residence. Pieces of the statue were located on a nearby road.
