T-Shirt Design Contest Celebrates Water

To celebrate National Drinking Water Week, Loudoun Water is hosting a T-shirt design contest for Loudoun County high school students.

Students are encouraged to come up with a design or slogan that fits on an 8.5-inch-square sheet of paper and conveys the theme of wise water use. The winning design will be printed on 1,000 T-shirts that will be given away this summer. Details are available at www.loudounwater.org/tshirtcontest.

Loudoun Water also is conducting a survey at www.loudounwater.org to raise awareness about water conservation and is encouraging teachers and parents to visit www.loudounwater.org/educational for activities and lesson plans on the topic.
