More than 50 kids spent Sunday afternoon scurrying about and searching for hidden eggs at the Leesburg Animal Park's annual Easter Egg Hunt.
It took them only 10 minutes to find most of the 1,000 plastic eggs organizers had stuffed with toys and hidden in a field.

Baskets carried by kids and parents were brimming with eggs, but many participants still searched for the most coveted treasure of all: The Golden Egg.
Organizers had hidden six hard-boiled eggs covered with gold paint, and children looked particularly hard for those eggs because they could be redeemed for additional prizes.
The Leesburg Animal Park has hosted the hunt since 2000.
