The first fire occurred at 46024 Bayswater Terrace on Feb. 20 and caused about $200,000 in damage. The cause of the fire is believed to be related to electrical wiring, the Loudoun County Fire Marshal's Office said.
In response to the fires, members of the Sterling Volunteer Fire Company and the Loudoun County Department of Fire, Rescue and Emergency Management will be working to provide information to residents about the fires and offering a free home fire safety inspection.
Investigators are asking anyone who saw anything suspicious to call the fire marshal's office at 703-737-8600. Authorities also would like to speak with anyone who has photos or video of the fires.
