Authorities are investigating several recent reports of prowlers in Loudoun, and are asking residents to stay alert and report suspicious activity.
Two incidents in the area of Ashburn farm sparked the investigations. On July 11 a teenage girl exited her home around 2 a.m. and noticed someone sitting in a porch chair. The suspect then grabbed the teen and after a struggle fled the home. The prowler wore all dark clothing and was said to be 5'7" with a chubby build. No one was found when police searched the area.
The second incident occurred on July 18 outside a home on Wild Meadow Court. A group of friends saw a person dressed in dark clothing walking near the house. Police searched the immediate area, including a part of the W&OD trail.

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office are unsure at this time whether or not the two events are related and members of the Criminal Investigations Division are researching other calls about suspicious people in Loudoun.
Authorities are asking residents to report any suspicious activity or
