Thunderstorm Warning, Tornado Watch Expire

The National Weather Service's severe thunderstorm warning for southeastern Loudoun County has expired.

An earlier tornado warning for south central Loudoun County and other areas in Northern Virginia expired at 8:15 p.m. A funnel cloud was spotted in Centreville shortly before 8 p.m.

Earlier today, the National Weather Service had issued a flash flood watch for Loudoun County as well as for other parts of Northern Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C.
