Farah Malik, 22, returned home to Sterling on Saturday after being reported missing last week. An investigation by the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office revealed that she left on her own accord and had been staying with friends.
Malik was reported missing on Wednesday, July 9, after last being seen by her family that morning. She had left her home on Rock Hill Road for her place of employment in Herndon. Normally, she would ride her bike on the Washington and Old Dominion Trail to get there.
The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office, along with the Herndon and Fairfax police departments searched the W&OD trail for several hours on the day she was reported missing.

I've heard that she's back home

I am glad she is back home, but OMG she told no one where she was going?! I don't care how old she is, that is completely irresponsible and self centered. To allow her family, friends, and community to worry SO MUCH. I hope the county sends her a tab for the effort wasted on this.
