Businesses Are Invited To Join Loudoun Guide

The Loudoun Convention and Visitors Association is inviting businesses to be listed in the Loudoun Shopping and Dining Guide.

The guide includes information about tourism-related stores and restaurants and is distributed to more than 275 attractions.

Tourism-related businesses receive a free 10-word description in the guide. Businesses can purchase a 50-word listing for $150. The deadline to submit or update a free or paid listing is July 31. Listings can be updated at www.visitloudoun.org/listingform. Limited display ads are also available for purchase.

Master Gardeners Try Flower Bulb Fundraiser

Loudoun County Master Gardeners is accepting orders for its flower bulb sale and fundraiser.

Bulbs are planted in the fall and bloom in the spring and early summer. The cost is $5 per bag.

Orders must be received by Aug. 1 and will be available for pickup 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 27 at the extension office, 30-B Catoctin Cir. SE in Leesburg. Proceeds support the master gardeners.

Native Plants Up for Discussion

The Loudoun County Extension Office has a free meeting at 7 p.m. Aug. 7 to discuss native plants.

The guest speaker will be Ryan Reed, a soil scientist. The meeting is at 30-B Catoctin Cir. SE in Leesburg. For information, call 703-777-0373 or visit www.loudouncountymastergardeners.org.
