The newly opened Franklin Park Performing and Visual Arts Center in Purcellville is now accepting bookings.

Organizers said community theater groups, musicians, dance companies and others now can book auditorium, classroom and gallery space. The arts center opened Feb. 2 and the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors has approved a fee schedule for the bookings.

Bookings will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.

“A great deal of work has gone into creating this fee schedule with the intent of making the arts center attainable for all Loudoun artists and arts groups," arts center manager Jeff Stern said in a statement.

For a copy of the fee schedule or to submit a booking request, call 540-338-7973.

The center is the first theater and concert facility in Loudoun that is not attached to a school or university. It includes a 275-seat theater and cost nearly $4 million.
