- Bomb Threat: Unknown subjects wrote a possible bomb threat on a stall of a bathroom at Stone Bridge High School in Ashburn on Dec. 17 between 12:06 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. The school was canvassed but nothing suspicious was located. The threat was located at the end of the school day.
- Burglary: A known subject entered a residence and removed credit cards on the 900 block of Sherwood Court in Sterling at 4:25 p.m. on Dec. 19. The subject has been identified and charges are pending.
- Destruction of Property: Unknown subjects spray-painted possible gang-related graffiti on a fence and a utility box on the 160 block of Cottage Road in Sterling at 6:59 p.m. Dec. 19.
- Suspicious Event: : A female resident living on the 20600 block of Emerald Point Terrace in Sterling stated that an unknown male knocked on her front door and requested to speak with her on Dec. 20. The resident did not open the door, and observed the subject through a peep hole in the door. The subject stated that he was an investigator and flashed a badge stating that he needed to speak with a person inside the residence. The resident stated that the subject then left in an unmarked blue sedan

- Recovered Stolen Auto: A deputy was working traffic control due to road conditions on Route 7 and Williams Gap Road in Bluemont Dec. 21, when a vehicle attempted to drive around the deputy. The vehicle was stopped and found to be a stolen vehicle from Herndon. Jose Wilber Urbina, 25, of Herndon and Jose A. Hernandez-Mendez, 25, of Maryland were taken into custody. Hernandez-Mendez was charged with Grand Larceny. Urbina was charged with Grand Larceny, two counts of ID fraud and driving on a suspended license.
- Burglary: Unknown subjects entered a residence and removed jewelry, alcohol, and change on the 38870 block of Hughesville Road in Hamilton between 4:02 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Dec. 21.
- Burglary: Unknown subjects entered a residence and removed jewelry on the 800 block of Argonne Avenue in Sterling between 12:51 a.m. Dec. 24 and 8:30 p.m. Dec. 25.
- Burglary: Unknown subjects entered the Lovettsville Mini-Mart and removed alcohol on Dec. 24 between 1:46 a.m. and 3:36 a.m. A glass window was damaged to gain entry.
- Burglary: Unknown subjects entered a residence and removed a video game system, a television and a sofa on the 35800 block of Hayman Lane in Round Hill on Dec. 25. The residence had been vacant.
- Destruction of Property: Unknown subjects entered two vehicles and removed GPS units from the 45100 block of Gayton Terrace in Ashburn between 3 p.m. Friday and 9:45 a.m. Saturday. Windows of the vehicles were damaged to gain entry. The estimated loss is $1,300.
- Destruction of Property: Unknown subjects spray-painted possible gang-related graffiti on a vehicle on the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue in Sterling between 2:53 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday.
- Burglary/Theft from a Vehicle: Unknown subjects entered a residence on the 42300 block of Big Springs Court in Leesburg at 5:03 a.m. Saturday. A vehicle was also entered and alcohol was removed.
- Weapons Violation: Patrick William Webster, 49, of Middleburg discharged a firearm into the air on the 23200 block of Oakham Farm Lane in Middleburg at 3:41 a.m. Monday. Deputies were called to the scene for a report of a possible domestic situation. As deputies were arriving on the scene they heard a shot fired. Webster was taken into custody and charged with reckless discharge of a weapon.
